i finally managed to get mystcraft installed both client and server side... running into a snag tho... i cant seem to make a descriptive book... i disabled crafting of certain things on the server but on single player i have nothing disabled and i still cant make a descriptive book...simply doesnt show up... im using mc 1.6.4 with forge installed to the latest version. anyhelp would be greatly appreciated
what are you doing to make one?

followed one of direwolf20's tuts... i place down a desk and a binder, in the desk i fill it with paper and ink along with a book of symbols, i then make copies opf the symbols and take tha tto the binder which i have a pile of leather loaded into the top left corner slot... i place the pages in the big black spot and nothing...no descriptive book... i followed his tut to the letter. and many thnaks for the reply

You need to make an ink mixer, put the ink and paper in that, not the writing desk. Then take the link panel it produces (and any symbols you want) and a piece of leather, and put them in the bookbinder. So it looks like you're not making a linking panel.

You need to make an ink mixer, put the ink and paper in that, not the writing desk. Then take the link panel it produces (and any symbols you want) and a piece of leather, and put them in the bookbinder. So it looks like you're not making a linking panel.
