I am on a mac and im running MC 1.6.2, my issue is that im trying to download Galaticraft and when i put the .jar file in the mods folder it says it wont use it because its a coremod. Everything I have found on the internet says "place it in your core mods" folder but when i get into my Minecraft folder there is no coremods. i am running the right forge i think, its the latest updated one and it auto installs if that helps. I really want this mod please help!

Yes. The coremods folder was unneeded. Now you need to put your .jar core mods in the mods folder.

i have a mods folder but when i run minecraft dont get coremods did everythin nothin works

When i try to install Clay Solders mod there is a thing called SAP_ManPackCore_v200a.jar it says put in coremods folder then when i clicked on it says don't put in mods folder or it won't work when i put in the mods folder it did not work can someone help me!
