are you using forge, or modloader?
have you downloaded the correct version of it for minecraft 1.5.2?
if forge did you install manually or with the installer?
i would suggest you you try clearing your .minecraft folder out (leave the saves folder) run the forge auto installer so it is installing fresh with no risk of another mod file getting in the way and see if it works.
make sure you are using the correct forge version for the minecraft version you set in the profile
