Hi there Support,

I am having an issue when attempting to create a crossbow crafting workbench. I am using 1.6.4 and too many items. When placing the receipe items(5 oak planks, 3 iron ingots, crafting table) in the chest area nothing(new gui) is created. I am using windows 7 ultimate 64bit with latest java build(7u45). Thanks

do you have any pictures it may just be a config problem

Hi Webrosc, the crossbow2 mod provides the crossbow already made. After i installed it I attempted to create a crossbow craft workbench, but to no avail. Shouldn't the gui work regardless of what mods are installed? Could this still be a config issue?

yes exactly minecraft is a program, and it runs the way its suppose to. A mod stands for modification. So when you install a mod you modifying minecraft thus adding that recipe. If you dont modify minecraft the game will see what you have in the crafting bench check and see if the order matches any of the items that it has and if not it will do nothing. A mod will add that item to the checker and it will see it and it will load it (i tried to dummy it down XDD)

Hi Webrosc, the crossbow2 already has the crossbow crafting bench made. For now this will do. ps I saw a you tube instruction video by Whipper and he created a cb bench from scratch with the cb2 installed. So for now it is a mystery. Thanks for all your responses.
