there`s no bin folder in 1.6.4 or newer, so have to put mods into the "versions folder" I tried every tutorial, and did everything others have done with no luck. tried installing minecraft forge for 1.6.4, optifine 1.6.4. the game`s launcher registers it, saying it`s there, but once I get into game. it`s NOT active. And yes I did delete the META-INF file. Is there another trick to get mods to work in this version? they keep updateing to new versions, and seems every time, mods just stop working, and it gets harder, and harder to mod the game.
Also my MULTIMC only goes up to 1.5.2 which I know is buggy. can only get TMI to work on it.
k got TMI to work, I want to use immibis microblocks, but can`t because it only goes up to 1.6.2. is there a way to get it to work with 1.6.4? or is he planning on making a compatible download?
Slightly concerned that you say "not sure if the Codechicken is interefering with minecraft forge" when using TMI
CodeChickenCore is part of NEI which is DIFFERENT to TMI, I personally far prefer NEI and have always used it due the crafting recipe viewer thing which is stupidly useful when you have lots of mods.
If you prefer to use TMI then go ahead, but you shouldn't be using CodeChickenCore, that's for a different mod entirely. I'm not sure if that should make it crash but it's certainly a problem.
So you should have 3 things in your mods folder; TMI, Immibis Core and Immibis Microblocks (or if you're using NEI; CodeChickenCore, NEI, Immibis Core and Immibis Microblocks).
EDIT: Not that I'm trying to sway you, but Forge Multipart does exactly the same thing as Microblocks but allows you to have multiple microblocks in the same block (see dire's spotlight here: ). This already comes with Forge by default, so I would argue, why do you even want Immibis Microblocks?

k got the multiparts mod. but NEI doesn`t work. i know I got the 1.6.4 version, but when I put NEI file into my mods folder, it won`t let me get past the launcher screen here`s all I have in my .minecraft folder
