Hi I'm on a mac os x 10.5.8 and I recently tried to mod minecraft but it didn't work so I deleted the folders then after a while I put minecraft on fullscreen but the screen just went black and I couldn't get out of it so I had to emergency power down then I tried it several times it still doesn't work PLEASE HELP!!!!
You may need to reset your Minecraft settings to default, so run the following command in a terminal: rm -fr ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/options.txt
To open a terminal, go to Applications > Utilities > Terminal or search for it in the Finder.
thx ww072 but i reset my minecraft folder and deleted all my mods BUT IT STILL DOESNT WORK
Do I hit enter after that Stupid sorry I dont mean to be rudeplus the launcher always says play offlineand I also have tekkit does that change anything

i have this problem MANY MANY times.
it might mean you have to many mods installed, may i ask how many?
if not.
then it probably means that two or more of your mods aren't compatible together.
