Hello everybody and here I am to ask why am I getting really low FPS with the shaders. I get between 15-20 and it doesn't make any sense because I run games like Crysis 3 on max settings with 60 fps. I had this problem for a while and if you guys can help me out that would be great. I am running this on 1.6.4 Forge.
PC Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-8350 8 Core @ 4.0Ghz
Graphics Card: XFX Radeon HD 7970 3 GB GDDR5
Ram: 8 GB of RAM 1600MHz
Also my drivers are all up to date and so is my java and OpenGL.
forge and what mods?
the mods you have running could be the issue not the shaders.
do you get low fps when in vanilla?
comparing minecrafts fps to other games is kinda pointless as minecraft is a java game, others use specially designed engines that are optimised to run well, java isn't.
