Redstone Acts Weird

I'm trying to put redstone down, but this is what happened:

I have Nodus 1.5 installed. Please don't complain that I cheat. I can do what I want on my client.

The redstone still responds to the signal but the weird texture is bothering me. I'm using the default texture pack if you're wondering

We do not condone the use of nodus here.does the issue happen on the normal client?

I've just uninstalled Nodus. And I've just checked that the redstone works fine
