Hi guys!
I've been trying to download MCreator for the past few days. I download it like the forum instructs me to- download MCP, download MCreator, go to C:\ and create a folder called Pylo, and a folder inside of that one called MCreator (leaving me inside the directory C:\Pylo\MCreator), extract the files from the MCreator zip file to the MCreator folder I just made (once again, C:\Pylo\MCreator), and run the MCreator.exe file. The problem is, whenever I do this, regardless of the version, MCreator runs, and it at least gets to the loading screen, to the point where it says something like "Setting up the texture editor...," and then the program quits. That's it. No chance to put in my MCP file, no setup, nothing at all.
I'd like to install MCreator for 1.5.1, but it just won't work, as described above. That and the fact that a notification always pops up, telling me it's outdated and sending me to the MCreator website to download the new version. I'd like to make my mod for 1.5.1, but apparently (because of this), I can't. I have also tried it on different versions (1.5.2 version and 1.6.2 version specifically).
As for the specifications of how I'm running Windows, I'm running a Mac, and using Virtualbox to run Windows 8.1. I have also tried this on another Mac, running Windows XP on Virtualbox.
If anyone can help me, that'd be great! I've really been hoping to try MCreator out.
