I'm trying to get mods working for my kid. He has 1.6.4 installed.
I downloaded and installed the latest Forge installer.
When I drop the TMI (Forge version) in the /mods folder, and launch the game, it immediatly crashes. The game will load and run if there are not any mods in the /mods folder. So far the TMI mod is the only one I have tried.

The file I had loaded the first time is "fml-installer-1.6.4-6.4.34.780.jar".
It created a "FML" profile.
This new one created a "Forge" profile, and the TMI mod loads and seems to be working in the "Forge" profile.
It all seems to be working now, thanks.
