I posted a topic twice asking for help with this, I have now accepted that unfortunately my saves are gone for good. I just want to know if anyone knows how it might have happened and how I might prevent it from happening again. I installed forge normally and everything was working until I went to open minecraft after installing the actual mods, it asked me to log in which is doesn't normally do and everything, saves, resource packs, forge, was just gone. I don't know what caused it, there was no error message involved, if anyone does know how it might have happened please tell me so I can try to keep it from happening again, thank you.
