When I log into my Minecraft, (singleplayer or multiplayer) I receive a message:
Forge Mod Loader has found ID mismatches
ID 258 is mismatched between world and game ID 279 is mismatched between world and game
I can safely choose to log in regardless of this message, however the held item thumbnail of my teleporters and beds are a bright purple/pink and black grid square texture; i.e.: missing textures. However, when I place the bed, or these "null" blocks, (the teleporters) the textures are normal, except for the particle effect when being hit. (The particles are small purple blocks.)
I'm assuming that the cause is the teleporter mod, since they are the only items affected by this "mismatch", but I'm unsure as to how to fix it.
Issue #2: Major Lag Spikes While Riding Horses in SMP/Multiplayer Server
I run a small hamachi server for myself and my boyfriend. There's only ever one or two people on it at any given time, and I run the server directly off of my computer. I have pretty fast DSL internet, and I rarely have any server lag related issues. However, no matter my current internet signal, or whether he is logged on or not, whenever I try riding a horse in my server, there are severe lag spikes. While riding, The horse gets about two steps forward, then freezes/lags for about a second or two, then juts forward a few feet. This is perpetual, and does not stop at any given time. The lag continues at all times riding the horse.
If I attempt riding a horse in singleplayer, I have absolutely no problems what so ever. I've seen a numerous amount of threads on this matter, but not many of them got any responses, and the few that did respond were of no assistance to the issue. Am I to assume this is simply because the horses are a new feature, and thus having a bit of a rough patch with them? Because I have used other mount-related mods and the effect is always the same. Each mount experiences the exact same lag / stutters / freezes as the horses still do for me today. I'm beginning to think smooth mount riding on servers is just never going to happen for me.
If anyone knows anything that I can try to resolve this, please let me know. My specs aren't the greatest, but they are pretty up there. Graphic and processing / GPU related stuff aside, I still choose to run my Minecraft on very user-friendly and efficient settings for the best and smoothest performance possible. With Optifine, I have also tweeked it well enough to run flawlessly for me. So I honestly don't think it's a computer related issue.
Thank you all for taking the time to read and/or attempt to assist me!
You have conflicting itemids. Change the item ids manually in the configs to something that is not in use or use a mod called IDFixer (or something similiar) for a quick fix.
Unfortunately, the only mod similar that I found is only updated to 1.5.1; other than that, I'm not seeing anything else. I know I have conflicting ID's, but I haven't been able to resolve them. I deleted all of my config files to attempt and refresh them, but that didn't change anything. I've also checked each and every one for conflicting numbers to the ID's forge told me were mismatched, and found no traces of either number using the ctrl+F feature in notepad.
So, so far, no fixes. I'm still looking for help if anyone is willing to post here besides one other person. :c
