While attempting to join a friend's server I get an error for mismatched IDs, specifically those around 27223. They appear to be Custom NPCs IDs.
I have already tried reinstalling Minecraft and the mods. The only mods I have are Forge, Pixelmon, and Custom NPCs. My friends and I all have the same versions of each mod.
My .config file for Custom NPCs are identical to those of my friend and his server.
I am the only person with this problem; another of my friends can play from his own house.
The mods work in single player. I can log into my own vanilla server without trouble.

Did you try to literally give the config file? Maybe you typo'd it

It's already October 15 2013, no solution yet?
From what i think, the bug is from Costum NPC. Costum NPC has an ID that is near "2722.....". The id related to it is 26...... .

This BUG REALLY IS FROM COSTUM NPC!!!

Guys! i solved the problem!
Ok, delete every single files and folder related to Costum NPC(including the other computer if you want to play LAN). Then reinstall costum NPC.

When you want to delete every single files and folder related to Costum NPC, delete everything BUT NOT THE ONE IN THE SAVED WORLD(The world that you already edited with CostumNPC).
