Try using the latest version. I think the installation is a little different than before, so search for a new tutorial on YouTube/where you got forge.

Thanks for the reply but i tried everything litterally. I searched on youtube about 1.6.4 and how to update it, it doent work still then i tried to download the latest version of forge to test it out but i got crash reports. Also the latest version of forge 9.11.1.916 is like the same thing of 9.10.1.871 and i also tried searching google/youtube on how to work out the new forge but none of them seems to be helping me. I tried to do what i did on my old forge with the id thing but i got crash reports. I was really hoping i could get a video showing me how to do this. (Why does the installation have to be so difficult T_T)
in your very first screenshot it says youre missing a dependancy for a mod that you have .. did you try getting that. from what i see forge is working fine. you need to get that version of forge. it seems you got one fo the more updated version which is good and you tried to follow a youtube video unfortunately without knowing which one you watched . imma go off a limb here with the info u said and say that it was wrong. you had to rename things and edit files and all this stuff its actually ALOT easier. NO you dont need to uninstall the early version of forge because when you play minecraft that is what choosing the profiles is for it doesnt even know that the other version exists. whats happening here is that one mod cant talk to forge and find its version number or realize that it is actually updated. and im guessing it could be because of your .json file with your forge.jar .. try deleting your newest profile for forge and instead of using your previous manua l method try using forge auto installer and doing it that way. then you might have a better chance at making the mods you want to start and forge to talk to them and tell them what version of forge exists. it seems like one mod has a version check event thats quite annoying it needs something to tell it what version its looking for.
I was trying to install a couple of more mods but then i got this message saying http://b2.raptrcdn.com/img/screenshots/orig/4f81f103ce241fff3b7bb4e0c2393409.5a3f54a2d45ef72dc6ffd8ecfe0140a4.jpeg so i tried to install the recommended version of forge and i got this http://b6.raptrcdn.com/img/screenshots/orig/4f81f103ce241fff3b7bb4e0c2393409.c34cf7367b4c8a830b9a11742c7c0320.jpeg forge version 9.10.1.871 and on the inside http://b9.raptrcdn.com/img/screenshots/orig/4f81f103ce241fff3b7bb4e0c2393409.53ec72e946e07d9aefae43610722081c.jpeg. I absolutly have no idea on how to use it unlike the forge version 9.10.0.789 since i saw youtube videos on how they use it, like copying the forge file then paste it in the new folder created for the mod, rename it, rename the forge copied, open the notepad and rename the http://b0.raptrcdn.com/img/screenshots/orig/4f81f103ce241fff3b7bb4e0c2393409.cd57537049c95ce714ed7d54a6f16003.jpeg to the folder name and save. I need anyones help as ive tried other methods too... This is giving me an headache with all this thinking. Also am i suppose to delete the old forge (9.10.0.789)?
