I'm trying to play minecraft, but everytime the launcher loads up to the "Select World" menu. It gets to "Downloading Terrain" and freezes and crashes. I tried uninstalling and installing the latest version of Java, but their Download link seems to be down because everytime I click "Agree and Download" it takes me to a page that says, "This page is unavailable"
I'm on Windows 8 using Minecraft Version 1.6.2 (I dont know how to update using the new launcher) with Minecraft Forge Version 9.10.0.884 I'm also using the "Power of the Elements" mod Version 1.1.2
If anyone can help me solve my problem, that would be very appreciated.
