My Minecraft keeps freezing when loading the game and when loading up maps. After every time it freezes it says "Minecraft has run out of memory". This started happening after my laptop was restarted to factory setting. Before that it was running very fast no issues at all. I tried everthing i thought of to fix the issue.
I deleted and reinstalled minecraft, i reinstalled java, I got 64 bit java but nothing seems to work. Can somebody please help me solve this frusterating issue

How much ram do you have? Also do you have any allocated to Minecraft?

I have 6G and i tried changing my allocated memory for minecraft from 500 to 4000 but that did not work either. (sorry I do not know the units lover than G)

Okay, if you are allocating memory in the launcher it should look like this. -Xms1G -Xmx1G. That is allocating 1 gigabyte to Minecraft. You could do 2, but I don't think you need more than 2. Make sure you check JVM arguments box.
Like this, Don't do 4 though.

Use the regular launcher. Also how many mods are you running? To many mods can cause crashes if you don't have enough ram allocated. Use a clean Minecraft version, and see if this is still happening.

I am currently using 3 mods and i think it works fine of the regular launcher but i want to use magiclauncher as it is more convenient for me using mods and for some reason whenever i install modloader it never works.

Mods:
-Optifine
-Zan's minimap
-Capes mod

Installing mods on the regular launcher is really easy, just search on Youtube how to do it. "How to install mods in 1.6 Minecraft". Otherwise figure out how to allocate memory in magic launcher. I assume it is pretty easy.
