i installed optifine+forge with this video:

when i'm trying to load the profile

i got this same error when installing forge manually. i got around this by using the installer forge gives you

i used the installer and it worked just fine. the problem happend when i tried to add optifine

sorry hadn't actually watched the video. i suggest putting the optifine .jar into your mods folder instead of following that and see if that helps. just install forge normally and then put the .jar in

quote from optifine creator. i dont know what else to say if this doesnt work. if you could use pastebin or a code tag then i may be more inclined to read your error report.

that video is terrible for installing it. youre doing it wrong. what you need to do is get the proper version of forger from the forge downlods site.

then go to the optifine thread.

and find the correct optifine for the version . it would actually be beter to see the optifine first. on the thread it says. Download OptiFine 1.6.2_HD_U_C4 Forge #830 needed for this. you can tell the build of forge by reading the last three numbers of it. grab the installer version. once you do that use the installer like normal and throw the optifine file into your mods folder
