I'm not sure what's causing MagicLauncher to give the following error when trying to allocate more RAM:

I have allocated 2048 before, and have 8GB of RAM on my pc. I'm running Java 7 update 40 (which is where I think the issue is, but not positive). I'm pretty sure I am running 64bit Java (which is what I need with my version of windows 7), but I'm also not 100% sure how to check if its 64 or 32bit.. :/
I am currently able to allocate 1024, but I do need more due to giant lag after playing for a couple of minutes.
Excellent! I was hoping it was a simple solution like this. May I ask you to be more specific as to how to change the path to normal Program Files and not x86? I'm not seeing Java in normal Program Files, so maybe I do have 32 java installed
If it is not in Program Files then it is most likely not installed. If that is true then install it, but leave the 32 bit version installed as well. It is good to have both versions in some cases.
Once 64 bit Java is installed open MagicLauncher, click Setup, then Advanced. You can choose the Java path there.
