I have this Mac OS X 10.5.8 running Minecraft on it right? So I try to mod it manually by putting the stuff inside of Minecraft.jar and it just black screens my Minecraft. I try to install minecraft forge first, and it just does the same thing. I've tried mod installers like MagicLauncher and stuff, but it just doesn't apply at all. I can get stuff that doesn't use Forge, like TooManyItems, and Optifine, but nothing else works. I had another problem on my PC but I fixed it by just using MagicLauncher. But this doesn't seem to be the case.
HELP!
P.S. Im using Minecraft 1.5.2 because the 1.6.4 launcher just doesn't work because of Java capabilities.
