I've experienced this bug before. It is sometimes caused because of Optifine and Rei's Minimap clashing together. Try quitting Minecraft and reopening it again, that usually solves the problem.

I've already tried that too. It happens frequently. So should I delete Rei's Minimap or is there another way to solve it?
