I am currently experiencing an issue with assigned keyboard controls which makes my game a pain every time I start up.
I am on 1.6.2 on a Mac with Forge, and several other mods such as Map Writer, Millenaire, and Advanced Movement. I play primarily only on single player.
The game plays smoothly without crashing and the mods do not conflict. All of these mods, however share pre-assigned keys such as "M" for both Maps and the Millenaire menu. I reset the keys every time I load the game but it never saves my configuration.

I have searched the forums as well as the internet abroad for a solution but I could not find one.
I read that this issue could be resolved by simply joining a multiplayer server, or making sure that my options.txt is not write protected. I have done both of these things and neither seem to work.
Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

has no one else experienced this problem before? it seems most questions get answered here, i was hoping someone might know something about this.

no one has ever had there problem of having there keys reset every time the game starts?

i dont have any of the mods you have listed in your first post. the image from that second post wont load so i dont know. very confusing.
