I have many mods and haven't run into this problem before and can't find how to fix it. When I put iron ingots into the furnace (regular and iron) to get refined iron I get steel instead. There is no way to get refined iron now. I can't see where there are item overlaps but maybe I missed it. I am on 1.6.2 and have IC2, buildcraft, natura, metalurgy, and railcraft (those are the only ones that I think add mineral elements to the game). I have had these mods before without a problem. Help....please

In the later versions of IC2 refined iron has been replaced with iron plates. Check out recipe of machine block for example. Id also like to know if you have installed the mod called "Artifice" on your client, because it has steel recipe using iron at furnace.

Everything I find still has refined iron as the recipe for the machine block. If I just run IC2 alone then it will give refined iron when iron is put into a furnace. Here are the list of mods I have (I can't find the one that has an overlap of ID's or is changing the smelting results):
