That's roughly 70-76 mods, which is honestly not a lot. A week or two ago I had about 150-200 mods and it worked perfectly without optifine, 0 lag, everything on max, but then I quit and deleted the .minecraft folder, which is really nothing, just removing the saves and stuff. Then I decided to start again last night and everything was fine, no ID conflict, no errors, etc., but when I created a new world and went into it, I would start lagging terribly and could barely even move, then after 30 seconds i would get the "shutting down internal server.." popup, but it would never close to show/create a crash report (it didn't show anything in the .minecraft folder if you think that it should make a crash report .txt file in there) so I would have to manually open the task manager and end the javaw.exe process. So I decided to put optifine in there (i only use it for texture packs but I was experimenting since I was desperate and it seemed to work, so. btw I'm not using any texture packs with optifine atm) and it seemed to fix the lag, but after about 5 minutes in, I would get the same popup that was everlasting. The ForgeModLoader .txt files show no errors, and on the development console after I close the game says that I was out of memory. I allocated 3 GB RAM to minecraft, and it does that. So I changed it to 4GB. Same thing. Then 5 GB. Same thing. I can't do 6 GB obviously because I only have a maximum of 6 GB RAM. Can anyone help?
TL;DR
First time this has happened...without OptiFine it lags like crazy...only about 70-80 mods but last week I was running 150-200 mods and it worked perfectly and I didn't need OptiFine...fresh and new save file...can't allocate anymore RAM than 5GB since I only have 6 GB max...shows "Shutting down internal server..." but it never shows crash report or creates one in .minecraft folder...ForgeModLoader.txt doesn't show any errors...Development console from Minecraft Launcher after ending Minecraft process says I ran out of memory...
