So, I like Optifine for obvious reasons. And I like Control pack, for obvious reasons. Problem is, not only do they hate each other, but they require other crap (forge, magic launcher) that hate each other. Oh, and on top of that, I like the autofish mod. Which itself requires liteloader (which hates EVERYTHING) because screw you that's why.
So, I somehow manage to figure most of it out. I get Magic Launcher to run a liteloader profile that runs a forge profile that runs optifine and autofish just fine. Problem is, control pack doesn't work. Okay, I'll just drop the files directly into the liteloader jar.
Doesn't work, crashes game.
No problem, I have a backup. Let's try putting it in forge this time.

I have the feeling that with the new version of Minecraft the mods just may be incompatible. Sorry. If I could help you I would.

I remember that control pack has a class file that you don't install when using optifine, but I can't find out which one it is or if it was changed. (I haven't used CP since 1.3ish)
