I'm trying to play with a modded version and for some reason the new launcher/profile editor screen refuses to recognize the modded version, It's just not showing up. I have tried restarting the launcher several times, even waited 30 minutes to see if it'll recognize it, it does not.
I have waited several weeks since update 1.6.2 to play with optifine in 1.6.2, now downloaded and installed the mod into the Jar, edited the Json, and now I can't see the modded version in the version select list. Please help me!
Here's a screenshot if it helps.
The modded version is in a folder called Optifine, the actual file name is "1.6.2 Optifine.jar"
ok, here's what I did when it happened to me: I took 1.6.2 completely out of the versions folder, and my modded profile was the only option that the launcher had. I kept the 1.6.2 folder elsewhere for safe keeping, but for now this is the solution that works for me.
