Hi everyone,
i just recieved my brand new gaming computer today. it was custom built for me to make youtube videos about minecraft. i wanted to install the shaders mod and when i installed SEUS standerd shaders i was running minecraft at 20fps not recording in a 720p window with the standard video settings. please review my pc specs and help me with this problem because i dont think a computer should be running this bad. it runs gta4 need for speed most wanted etc at ultra render settings in 1080p no problem. so its powerful just not working with minecraft.

I laugh at this machine, because the Crossfire setup is absolute pointless. It is funny you paid 2500 USD for a machine that should costed like 1200 USD to build yourself, except better better performance.
Shaders mod is absolute horribly optimized and last I know still beta for 1.6.2 Minecraft. Try another shaders pack first such as Optimized version of SEUS.
An I hope you have another HDD to record videos to, SSDs are not good at all for constant stream writing to. You will kill it fast by recording video to one.
You overpaid for what you got. Now a days, you have gotta build a custom gaming rig. It's so much cheaper. Check this out, here's a computer I put together for 1,200 USD that will double/triple the performance you're getting now. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1vW9r

i actually put all the items into an amazon shopping cart and it came out to be around 2000 dollars so i thought that for 200 dollars more i would have just had someone do it for me.
300 dollars went for a monitor.
i do have a 2000gb data drive and other things that i didnt think were necessary to put in here that helped drive the price up. seus is the shaders that im having a problem with and im asking is there maybe a setting on my graphics cards that i have set up wrong. or what because like the person below you said they have a worse graphics card and are getting better fps

guys please dont tell me that i overpaied for my configuration without doing some research first. i used the part picker website and just as suspected it came out to be the same exact price before any discounts as the computer i built. the company that built it for me gave me over 250 dollars in discounts. it was cheaper to go with the company than build it myself. i went through and put exact parts in the part picker just to prove to you and anyone else that reads this that i did not overpay for my machine. i just wanted a good machine. heres the proof... http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1yeee
also please help with maybe on of my settings being not set up right or something.
