Minecraft Forums

I've been trying to figure this out for the longest time and I just can't. My son is the one who plays the game, but since he is 7 he still needs help with some of the more technical things(not for long though). After I download forge I click on it and it and a black box briefly flashes on the screen then it goes away. The box that I'm supposed to click ok on never pops up. I have run a clean install of minecraft and still no difference. I have updated java...still nothing. I then went and downloaded minecraft and forge on a different laptop....works like a charm. Mods work and everything. Can anyone tell me what to look for that would be causing the conflict? I can't figure this out!! Please help!
