Mods installed in order:
(deleted META-INF after dragging forge files into minecraft.jar)

2. OptiFine
3. Mine and Blade
I made a flatlands world to test dual wielding (from battlegear) and see if everything works but I can't go into battle mode, the mod's inventory, or the sigil editor. I looked in the controls and the binded keys were there:
As you can see, the mod's binded keys are at the bottom and are not working.
I know the mod works because nerd-boy posted a pic of the sigil system in third person and I saw his character holding two swords and this problem also occurred in another mod: Shoulder Surfing Mod
I open Minecraft and see "4 mods loaded" (I installed Mine and Blade: Battlegear II which is updated to 1.5.2)

Forge works with other mods I install like Clay soldiers mod
Installation instructions:
1. Download and install forge
2. Download the mod .jar file
3. Place the mods .jar file in the mods folder
Is there something wrong with the newest forge? Or is there compatibility issues with OptiFine? Or did I not install things right?
Modded client support seemed like the right section for this, sorry if it isn't.

I am fully aware that I installed the right version... I installed the 1.6.2 version, not the discontinued version. This post is also pretty old.
