I'm having problems fixing Minecraft on my Mac. It was working perfectly, then not.
When I open minecraft, and hit "Play" in version 1.6.2, the entire screen goes black. I can see/move the mouse, and I can click once and get the iconic Minecraft click sound, but that's it.
I have;
removed Minecraft from the computer, reinstalled, etc.
Restarted.
Optimized the computer using MacKeeper.
No luck.
But, I don't think I'm removing Minecraft completely. (I'm deleting the sofrware, then deleting any files in Java Preferences. (Saw that I should do that online, but there are no files there.) However, when I download the program again, it still knows my profile, so I don't think I'm actually deleting all the files.
Any help?
