I have windows 8 and and i have followed all the steps it tells me for the mod but for some reason it's not working. i wanted to install mr. crayfish's furniture mod and yes i have minecraft version for 1.6.2. i downloaded forge. i have put the mod in the mods folder. i deleted all the meta inf. folders. is there something different for windows 8? is that the problem? please and thank you for the help.
Ok you did 2/3 steps right. After you drag the mod into the mod folder launch your launcher. Then click select profile. Select forge. Launch the game and have fun. ( Don't delete meta- inf only do that if you are installing optifine or reis minimap. )
