I know this has nothing to do with the error, but my web browsers have also been crashing. I've tried Internet explorer (32 and 64 bit), firefox, and google chrome. They all crash after a while, and a few times a day.
Tried with a new Minecraft. Seems whenever I get teleported somewhere or start something I crash. I can join a server, but if I teleport somewhere I crash.
EDIT:
Just got a new crash. 'failed to start game'

I am not playing minecraft. but i also got a lot of this type of errors when running eclipse 64 bit using java 64 bit. My computer is quite new and i suspect this may be caused by some hardware issues as I also got a few BSOD (blue screens) with the new computer.
Another thing you may try is to add the java option -XX:+UseCompressedOops

I get a few bluescreens also. My computer worked fine when it was 32 bit but ever since i upgraded to 64 my browsers crash, minecraft crashes, i get blue screens, and alot more.
Ah, fixed it. Even though my memtest came back clean, I tried using a different set of ram and everything is working fine. No more bluescreens, browser crashes, minecraft crashes, or anything. Thanks for the help guys!

My Minecraft game has been crashing a lot ever since I've had it and I am using the latest version of optifine, i don't use any mods, or texture packs, i have changed the gamma in the options in the .minecraft folder though. If anybody can help me and possibly figure out whats causing this, i would love some feedback. There is also random flashes on the screen, and in different colors

Whats really happening is that you are using the wrong bit of java, for a 64 bit user u need x86 as it is 64 bit, 32 x64, howerver, most mods require 64 bit java.
