I installed magiclauncher so I could get worldedit (via singleplayercommands) without having to modify my class files. I've now taken a shine to the Moartex resource pack so I added that. However when minecraft loaded there was a major font glitch
So I remembered reading about high resolution texture packs so I installed optifine, adding it to the bottom of my mods list as I was told on the forum page and the font glitch was solved, however now when I try and load a world it gets stuck on the Loading World screen. I don't really need optifine so if there is any way I can fix the font glitch without installing optifine that would be fine.

This might sound strange, but it might be a problem with how the launcher inserts the files.


Try using MultiMC for your Minecraft needs rather than Magic Launcher.
That might solve your problems.

optifine inherently dislikes magic launcher, so you may need to do the whole copy and paste class files. or use the default tex pack.

I've actually fixed the issue now by patching with MCPatcher
