My son installed a few mods from skydaz.com for his game. Unfortunately, some viruses came along for a ride. We ran Avast antivirus to take care of the issues, and also ran a runtime boot scan when we were done. We then uninstalled all the mods.
Since then, we haven't been able to get Minecraft to run. Upon startup, we get the crash report screen with a message at the top that tells us they can't send the crash report because it looks like the game has been modded.
I've been trying to figure out how to do a clean uninstall, but when I go to the control panel, I don't see Mojang or Minecraft listed. I also did a search on the computer and the only "Minecraft" that comes up is the icon that is on the desktop.
Hoping that someone here can help us figure out how to fix this problem.
