Hello! I am creating a modpack for 1.5.2, and pretty much every other mod I install gives me a problem. This can be quite annoying when you're installing 50+ mods. What I would like for this topic is me being able to post on it whenever I have a problem with my modpack, and experienced mod installers to help me out, preferably people who will STAY on this post. Thanks in advance.
I am just using a normal Minecraft launcher, (not the 1.6 one), and am on a Mac (Mac OSX 10.7.3).
Are you sure that they are all for 1.5.2? Some mods may have updated and not been very clear about it.
Right now, I don't have every mod installed that I am going to use, but there are still crashes, just not on startup. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't mods for the wrong version crash on startup? I will go check anyway though, especially for ones giving me trouble.
One crash I just had trouble with is: When I opened my inventory, my mouse appeared, everything froze, then shutting down internal server, screen goes black. I had to force quit Minecraft, and there was no crash screen. Here are all the mods I have INSTALLED. This is not the complete mod pack:
Minecraft was not nice enough to leave a crash report, but here is part of my log. It was too long to put the entire thing in, but I believe nothing before this was really relevant, if you want to see more than that let me know. I'll paste bin it or something.

Sorry if I sound like a massive noob, but what is "jvm arguments?" And what exactly is that doing? I do want to what the problem was, and why doing that would fix it. And ok, next time I will post a full log, wasn't sure if it was necessary, haven't done much of this kind of stuff before.

mean? Because I keep randomly crashing and that seems to come up a lot in every log right near the end. I'm not sure if doing what RustyXXL said will fix it, but as I said, I don't know what jvm is, so I'm not quite sure how to do what he said.
jvm = java virtual machine = the part of java that's running your application
jvm arguments are the things like -xmx and -xms you start the jvm with...how you do this depends a little bit on how you start your minecraft, and I won't be listing all possibilities. googling "jvm arguments", "jvm parameters", "shell arguments" or "shell parameters" for your operating system should provide you with some more information.
The argument sets the size for the permanent generation space (permgenspace in your errorlog), which, to my understanding and in layman terms, saves a kind of "map" of most classes, methods, fields etc. of an application, so java knows which methods exists.
It is known that the default values are often to small for a modded minecraft, the more mods, and the more functions the mods add the sooner this will cause problems.
Additionally your error log clearly states the problem, and so increasing the permgen size will solve the problem of the permgen space being to small. (I really should save that explanation somewhere...I explained it to often lately...^^)
As for the

It's most likely some kind of a debug output from one of your mods. I can't tell you which one, though, as it doesn't say which one it is...
You could try playing with your console open and maybe get some hints what ingame actions it relates to...

Anyway, where exactly do I change the PermGen size? And will it take away ram from other things? Because my computer does not have that much ram. And am I changing this for Minecraft, or my whole computer?

You are just missing some things.
I don't have to answer here, and I'm not getting paid to do so. I'm doing it in my free time. I am not the only person here, and additionally this is neither the only Thread in this Forum nor the only place in the Internet to get your Problems solved. A quick google search for "minecraft JVM arguments" and "Minecraft console" might have given you hints to your problems.
Oh, and now it's 8:42am where I live, which might explain, why I was away...

Where you change it, depends on how you start Minecraft. If you use MultiMC it has a field for arguments in its Java settings tab.
If you use a bat you can change it in there...if you have other launchers, I can't tell you, because I don't use them.
I use MultiMC, and got my console through its features, but afaik there are ways to get the console when using a bat...you'll have to search for that on yourself, as my son is visiting me, and I have hardly any time right now.

I've searched for a little less than an hour, and have not found anything remotely helpful. Most things I found had absolutely nothing to do with my problem. (Running out of permgen space). I know I need to add more permgen space, but I can't figure out how. Just for clarification to anyone who wants to help me, I have a MAC, which seems to be the problem, because everyone is talking about Minecraft.exe, which is not something I have. They has also been talk about adding jvm args to "your .bat," which do not run on macs, and the mac version is a .sh, but I cannot find one relating to Minecraft, and I think I'm supposed to create one. The only time I thought I found so,ething helpful, I actually added more RAM, which is fine, but it's not what I'm looking to do, and it didn't solve the problem. And I am just using the normal Minecraft Launcher, NOT the new one, because I'm still in 1.5. If anyone knows how to add more permgen space to the normal minecraft launcher on a mac, help would be greatly appreciated.
If you added more ram, you most likely did somewhere add the JVM Arguments "-xms=xxxm" and/or "-xmx=xxxm"
And you'd simply have to add the arguments I gave you to that so you get omething like
I stopped using the original launcher sometime back in the Beta, and started using MultiMC back on 1.2.5.
I still got pretty much every instance of Minecraft I ever used. I could go back and start any full modded mc instance since 1.2.5 up to my most recent instances. All in all I got about 45 different Minecraft instances (And each instance is a full Minecraft installation)
My MultiMC instances directory is atm about 12g big ^^

Sadly MultiMC isn't updated for 1.6. It's being worked on, but there's no eta yet afaik, but if you don't need 1.6 I'd suggest to give it a go. There's a mac version of it, and it makes a lot of things much easier, including giving minecraft more ram and adding custom jvm arguments (per instance or for all instances)
Well, I have quite a few instances myself, been saving them almost since I got the game. Is there a way to import them into MultiMC? Is it easy to use? I guess I'll probably look up a tutorial. Thanks for helping me out so far!

Yes, you can import vanilla instances, it's not much more than creating an instance in MultiMC and then copying the files in the right folder
Yes, it's pretty easy to use, especially for installing and removing mods, and managing the ram etc.
As I don't know the content of that said document I can't tell you anything about it
Alright, well I figured out MultiMC. and added the JVM args, and everything seems to be working fine now. Thanks for all your help.

Retired StaffRight now, I don't have every mod installed that I am going to use, but there are still crashes, just not on startup. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't mods for the wrong version crash on startup? I will go check anyway though, especially for ones giving me trouble.
One crash I just had trouble with is: When I opened my inventory, my mouse appeared, everything froze, then shutting down internal server, screen goes black. I had to force quit Minecraft, and there was no crash screen. Here are all the mods I have INSTALLED. This is not the complete mod pack:
