Hello there! Ok so i have had this problem for a really long time now and it is extremely annoying. To start off, I have a 2011 13 inch macbook pro (yes i know its not for gaming but whatever deal with it) and the specs arent that great obviously. However, it runs minecraft at max settings with 30+ fps with the help of the only mod i use called OPTIFINE. I honestly need this mod to play, but im not sure if its actually this mod that causes my problem. My problem is that minecraft is always unexpectedly quitting on me and i have no idea why. There is really no reason for it to do that, but whatever it happens, and since i play in epic fullscreen using the f11 trick, whenever it happens, minecraft completely freezes and i cant force quit or exit or ANYTHING. I am FORCED to FORCE RESTART my computer by holding the power button and turning it on again -.- It is EXTREMELY annoying and i hate it so much and i have tried EVERYTHING to try to fix this problem, but i cant fix it. I even searched on the forums and the internet for about 2 hours straight last night and nothing. I already tried tweaking optifine so that it doesnt use multi-chunck loading, i tried increasing the autosave interval, i tried EVERYTHING you can think of. Also this seems to happen at completely random times so it is impossible for me to know. I would really like some help with this problem please guys! You have no idea how much i would appreciate it! Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
I've been having the same problem on my macbook pro. it also does it when i just change the window size by dragging with the mouse and when i click the maximize button. and I've been using a vanilla client. I've narrowed down that it must be an error with the macbook, because on every other mac/windows system, it works fine.

For me its always unexpectedly quits all the time randomly and when im playing in fullscreen the whole system freezes so i have to restart and this problem is so annoying it has kept me from even opening up minecraft for about 3 months now
Ok, so I found a way to fix this:
Since your on a mac, click finder, and in your hotbar, an option called GO should appear.
Click on GO TO FOLDER and paste this text in there: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
Then: Find a text called options.txt
In there, somewhere, you should find something saying fullscreen=false.
Change that to fullscreen=true
Close finder and open Minecraft.
Your Minecraft should then open in Fullscreen automatically, and your Mac shouldnt crash
Hope I could help u
Oh my gosh FINALLY someone may have the answer to my huge problem!!! I've been waiting so long for this day!!! I cant try it out right now cause im really busy but as soon as i get home and get the chance to play I will be sure to inform you if it worked or not. Thank you so much dude!!!!!!!

You are a) resurrecting an old thread that has nothing to do with your issue. Do not do that. Start your own.
b.) You indeed are using a resource pack. It says it right here:
Resource Packs: [Sphax PureBDcraft 128x MC18]
And in fact the error report helpfully tells you to remove it:
ctz: Unable to fit: minecraft:items/gold_boots - size: 128x128 - Maybe try a lowerresolution resourcepack?
