I have this problem, In Taiga and Jungle biome I can't play.
Now, the only form for transpassing this biome its swiching to Creative mode, fly up to cape 128 and view the Rei's Minimap.
Images:
1 up to 4 fps. Unplayable.
Without Optifine this biome crash Java (The application will crash, not the game)
Intel Atom CPU - Intel 3150 Video Card, Up to 128 V.RAM
