Hi guys, I am trying to produce videos for my Youtube channel called Minecraft4Fun. But I lag lot while recording when I normally wouldnt lag at all. I use FastStone screen capture. Ive tried Fraps but it made the lag worse. I use optifine and rei's minimap for mods. I can put all my settings so it would lag the least and im still getting only 10 fps. I tried doing the task manager tricks, but they dont work. Ive tried using game boosters, but they dont help. Im wondering if you guys could help me. Ill post my system specs below so you guys can see what I have to work with and what I can do to make me not lag while recording.

So if you guys could give me suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

It is 2009-2010 Pc but I may look into upgrading the Cpu. I read online to go with an Intel i5 Quad core(Even I know not many programs will utilize all 4 cores). But I am saving up for a custom built machine anyways. So ill look into what you said and try it out.
