Earlier today, I downloaded a few texture packs and 2 or 3 mods. I have an average computer that was able to handle all of these mods very well with little to no lag. I downloaded a 512x512 HD Texture Pack and clicked it in the texture pack menu. The game stopped for about 20 seconds and the background for the menu changed. Then it just stayed there. I left it for an hour and it still didnt load. I X'd out and tried loading up Minecraft. It just got stuck on the white Mojang screen. Ive left it sit for 45 minutes and it just says not responding. Someone please help???

This sometimes happens to me when there are too many background programs running. Try closing out any other programs, then starting up Minecraft.

I tried removing the texture pack from my downloads. That didnt work. Now when I let it sit on the Mojang screen, after about 2-3 minutes, Minecraft just closes itself.(Im playing from download, not in browser.) I just dont understand. It was stupid to download that texture pack. I dont think I'll ever be able to play minecraft again..

Alright I got it working again. Thanks for trying to help me guys.

stuck at mojang screen, should i try to delete the mods?

its actually not the texture packs its the mods,it could be because of one or more corrupted mods in our . minecraft folder.it will be fixed when you remove all the mods
