Alright.

1. Open explorer and go type %appdata% in the top bar.



2. Go to .minecraft -> versions, then select your 1.6.2 folder and make a copy of it




3. Rename the copied folder. I used 1.6.2optifine here



4. edit 1.6.2.json



5. Change the id to your new folder name like I did



6. Also change the filenames



7. In the launcher, go to New profile and select your new foldername




8. It's now in the list. You can select it already.



9. Download this: http://adf.ly/404181...6.2_HD_U_B4.zip (do skip ad in top right corner after 5secs)

10. Open the file you just downloaded with WinRAR http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar50b8.exe

11. Now go back to the .minecraft/versions folder, go to your 1.6.2optifine folder and open 1.6.2optifine.jar with WinRAR

12. Select META-INF and delete it



13. Drag the contents of the optifine file you downloaded to the 1.6.2optifine.jar you opened with WinRAR



14. You're done!
