A couple days ago, my Feed the beast stopped working, so I went to download another jar.
Also, I tried downloading a map to use as well.
But I now have 2 problems with the launcher, as I found out I also have an OLD ftb folder.
Problem 1. When I manually click on the jar file, ftb loads and surprisingly reinstalls itself everytime I try to play again. The title/ starting screen DOESN'T come up, but the message saying "FML is loading" comes up. Then, the screen turns black, and the game crashes. Here is my crash report:

2. After searching on another forum, I found something that you can paste into terminal that will start the launcher. So when I finally got in-game, the folder that I had placed in the saves folder WASN'T there.
If you have the solution, PLEASE tell me it. Thanks!
Nobody knows? I even tried to reinstall, but this is what happens still:
The stupid folder I DELETED MULTIPLE TIMES comes onto my desktop again
The title screen works
A crash occurs, still claiming 0 mods are installed, 0 mods active.
When I went to further investigate in the mysterious folder, I didn't find a SAVES folder at all. I also found a long list of mods that seemed to be installed.
What else should I try? Should I try a different modpack and see if the problem still occurs?
*Okay, I just tried to launch again, it supposedly installed an "update". Here is my crash report:

Looks like you have the same problem I did. The version of LWJGL you're using doesn't work on the Mac with Java 7.
Download the latest stable release of LWJGL from here. Then go to the bin folder of the modpack you want to use and copy the following files from the LWJGL file you downloaded:
jinput.jar
lwjgl_util.jar
lwjgl.jar
natives
Once you've copied those files, launch the game to make sure it works. The screen will be black for a while, but it's still launching. When it finishes loading, the screen may be upside-down (another issue I've experienced), but all you have to do is go into full screen mode and it will turn right-side-up. It may be a bit difficult to navigate to the Minecraft settings and go to full screen mode, but it does fix it.
Hope this helped!
