I just updated to the latest version of Minecraft (for OSX), then I installed the latest supported versions of Minecraft Forge, Not Enough Items and ExtraBiomesXL. After that, I downloaded Magic Launcher to easily install Optifine.
The game now seems to work fine, except for instead of simply opening the inventory when I press "e", it only stays open as long as I hold it down. As far as I know, that isn't meant to be a feature in the update or any of the mods I'm using.
Something I noticed though, is that when I click the search bar added by Not Enough Items, the inventory stays open, but each time a type a letter, it's printed twice. I'm guessing that the reason why the inventory doesn't stay open is because the game thinks I'm pressing "e" twice in rapid succession.
Obviously, I can't play the game properly like this, so if anyone has any idea what's happening, please help.
