Smart Moving requires Modloader, Flans Mod requires Forge. Most likely, they aren't compatable.

Almost any mod that uses modloader will also work with forge, so they might be compatible. Try it without modloader.

As far as I know, YES THEY ARE!
I have Flan's Mod, Smart Moving, Backpack Mod, Parachute mod, and of course Forge for 1.5.1, and I have not gotten 1 ERROR in my first play.

ugh

ModLoader + ForgeModLoader = ERROR ERROR!
ForgeModLoader + Smart Moving = ERROR ERROR ERROR!
ForgeModLoader + Smart Moving + Player Render API = Sucess!
ForgeModLoader + Flan's Mod + Smart Moving + Player Render API = ??? Test it

so just try without modloader, modloader and forge would just run into eachother like airplanes
