Quote from Hidinginthelight Try with optifine instead then.
Quote from Hidinginthelight Well when I asked if you used mcpatcher or optifine, you said mcpatcher. If you are using both together they conflict with one another.

Retired StaffA 512 pack is pretty demanding. I'd expect anyone with a computer that can handle it would know how to post a screen shot.

Retired StaffIf you are using both together they conflict with one another.
And not at the same time.
You maybe could of downloaded a wrong texture, or you put the texture pack in the wrong section of your minecraft.
1.6.2
(2). You must try optifine first without the Mcpatcher, if that doesn't works. Try the MCpatcher without optifine.
(3). If that doesn't works, than re-download the texture pack and put it in the resourcepacks.
(4). You may put in too much memory into your minecraft,
(5). You might have failed to install optifine, or failed to patch.
(6). Texture pack is too strong for your graphics, or the texture pack may have textures missing.
(7). Get a lower res one.
