I used to play alot, but stopped for a while. I am still using the same pc and have had some lag issues that I didnt have when I used to play. None of my settings changed and I didnt update. I am using Optifine and patch 1.5.2. How can I decrease lag. Please help, I miss minecraft. Dont tell me I need to update game because I tried 1.6.2 and it was worse .

Windows 8 64 bit
Processor : Intel® Core™ i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz
RAM : 6gb
Graphics Card : Intel HD Graphics 4000 (I know its kind of bad)
