singleplayer not working

my single player is not working it just says downloading terrain and it freezes therei only have optifine on but i tested with vanilla minecraft still didnt work anyone know how to fix this?
also multiplayer wors just fine with no problems.

Happened with me when I tried to load my world. I deleted my world and started a new one and it worked fine.
