i have mo'creatures, jammy furniture mod, mrcrayfish furniture mod and forge. i built my house on the plains. i searched for villages but nothing is generated! ive searched so far and i even got lost. help please!!

Well, sometimes it can just be attributed to terrible luck.
When I first played Minecraft It took me MONTHS (Maybe like.. 4 or 5) before I finally found one.
I thought Villages were these rare and valuable priceless things where you have to be beyond lucky to find one.
I now know that's not true, but it's all very random. Here's a test to see of they are spawning. Create a new creative world that is Super Flat (Possibly Plains) and just fly around. If you see a village, then it's working as intended. OR, if you want one near by you can do what I did.
Build a City (Residential Avenue or something) or a closed off area of houses. Make it look nice, make sure the doors get plenty of light from above it, find a Zombie Villager (Or two... Actually, definately two), lure him into the Village-to-be, crack a splash potion of weakness on his skull, shove a golden apple down his throat, and bingo, convenient and customized village right outside your doorstep!
