I'm trying to install ModLoader 1.5.2 on a 1.5.2 version of Minecraft (I've tried it with the new launcher, an old 1.5.2 vanilla download, and MultiMC). The Vanilla versions I've freshly created run as normal just like you'd expect, but once I've installed ModLoader the game crashes on startup. There are no other mods installed; ModLoader is installed into a vanilla Minecraft so I know it's not a mod-clash. The console reaches the stage of initializing ModLoader and then fails. The below crash report says my system has Java 1.6.0_51, but my Java Control Panel definitely says 1.7.0_25-b15. I have also definitely deleted the META-INF and am certain I have installed the plugin correctly. It has worked with no problem in 1.6.2 but most of the stable mods (and server plugins - I'm a server admin) are still based on 1.5.2 so I'd really like to have the 1.5.2 version working.

Anyone got a fix for this?

I was finally able to get ModLoader 1.5.2 working on a MultiMC instance of 1.5.2 but still no luck with the new launcher. Probably something to do with the way the new launcher works. ModLoader 1.6.2 works in the new launcher so when I update the server it will be simple enough to switch up. Thanks to anyone who checked out this thread.
