Hey Guys I'd like some help due to the fact that not just tekkit, but normal vanilla minecraft.
I've played minecraft for about a year, and tekkit for a couple of months, but I've never once got lagg like this.
I open up the launcher, and as soon as I log in, the RAM the game uses jumps up to 700mb-1gb, even though a couple of days ago I could run it perfecty on 300mb of RAM. It also seems that It may be my connection, but what is messed up is that Google Chrome jumps up and starts using 800mb of RAM when I connect to the minecraft.net Site. I log in minecraft, my pc starts freezing and I get about 1/2 a frame every second, even though normally with optifine I could get about 30-40FPS.
I've already tried this:
Clearing the Cache,
Deleting minecraft.jar
Deleting .minecraft folder
Changed Browsers
Allocating more and less RAM to Tekkit
Nothing seems to work, if needed here are my specs:
HP-Pavilion dv6 notebook 64bit OS
processor: Intel(R) Core i3-2310M CPU @ 2.10 GHZ
RAM: 4gb
