Can't install mods!

I don't know how many things i've tried [at least 50] but i my minecraft just won't let me download ANY mods!! no matter what i use, [other launcher's, forge] it just WON'T work!! if ANYONE could send me a 1.6.2 .jar with ATLEAST optifine i would love them forever!!! By the way I own a mac so if you want to send me a tutorial [thanks OrdinaryGirl i subscribed to u!!!] send a mac one! but the a pc .jar WILL work on my pc i know because a youtube channel has done it before.

I don't think 1.6.2 are released yet because 1.6.1 has just released a few days ago
