So I'm working on automation for my forestry bees on my 1.4.7 modded world.

I use diamond pipes to control which bees go to which apiary, and which direction the items go.

However, yesterday somehow, my industrious bees got mixed with cultivated extras that were travelling through the pipe. This resulted in me completely losing my industrious queen, to pure bred cultivated bees.

My apiaries are set up in a line, with autarchic gates on wooden pipes behind them, and diamond pipes underneath. The pipe that empties into the storage system is connected to the apiary with industrious bees inside them. The furthest apiary from that is the cultivated production. I program the diamond pipes by placing a drone and princess into the white slot (top).

To try to determine the problem, I connected an obsidian pipe and sent a cultivated bee through the system. This bee went into the industrious apiary. I removed the heroic bees from their apiary and sent the cultivated bee into the system again. This time, they went into the heroic apiary. I checked that all the pipes are configured properly.

This is not the first time that my industrious bees got screwed up. The heroic bees came into the industrious line before, but I caught it quick enough to fix the problem, however my bees have the heroic effect now, and some are nocturnal (which I'm not complaining about).

So my problem is, how exactly can I prevent my industrious bees from breeding with other bees (keep them pure bred) while keeping the diamond pipes. I am trying to avoid apiarist's pipes, cause it's a pain to program them (especially high-tier bees).

I say start using other mods like AE instead of BC with this kind of stuff, BC Pipes aren't good for this.
